We're hiring for our Macaron Parlour seasonal holiday market at Union Square. The market goes from November 13-December 24.
Our booth is shared with Meow Parlour in a prime spot right by the main Union Square exit.
Shifts are full day shifts (10:30am-9:30pm on weekdays and 10:30am-7:30pm on Saturdays) and half shifts on Fridays and Saturdays. Pay is $20/hour, plus tips and bonuses for hitting sales goals.
You will be helping guests with macaron and hot chocolate orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage with customers: Greet shoppers with a warm, friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service.

Sales: Assist customers with purchases, handle cash and credit card transactions.

Inventory Management: Restock displays and manage inventory to ensure our booth looks inviting and organized.

Booth Setup & Maintenance: Help restock the booth at the start of the day and ensure it remains neat and festive throughout the day.
REQUIREMENTS:

Food Handler's License: All employees must have a food handler's license.
- Must not have a severe allergy to almonds.

Customer Service Skills: You have previous retail or sales experience and are comfortable interacting with customers in a busy market setting.

Friendly and Outgoing: You enjoy engaging with people and creating a fun, friendly atmosphere.

Reliable: Ability to commit to a set schedule, including weekends and evenings.

Organized: You can manage inventory, restock efficiently, and keep the booth tidy.

Comfortable with POS Systems: Basic experience with cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system (training will be provided).
